Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead and inspire the maintenance team, focusing on safety, planning, cost efficiency, and quality. Optimize labor utilization and ensure your team is operating at peak performance.
  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Reliability Best Practices: Introduce and enforce best practices in reliability to ensure all equipment operates efficiently and dependably.
  • Continuous Improvement: Tackle manufacturing process and maintenance challenges by initiating corrective/preventive actions and spearheading continuous improvement projects.
  • Support Compliance & Safety: Actively support Process Safety Management (PSM), Health Safety, Environmental plans, and continuous improvement strategies to maintain a safe and compliant operation.
  • Budget & KPI Management: Develop and manage the maintenance department’s budget, set clear goals, and track performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Spare Parts & Inventory Management: Maintain comprehensive lists of spare parts and critical equipment, ensuring all inventory is managed effectively to support ongoing operations.
  • Training & Development: Implement robust training programs to continually elevate the skills and expertise of all maintenance personnel.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the site Management Team to ensure preventive maintenance is executed effectively, reducing downtime and enhancing overall plant performance.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Over 10 years of leadership experience in Plant Maintenance/Reliability within PSM-regulated chemical plants.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including PSM, OSHA, EPA, and NFPA standards.
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing maintenance and reliability teams, including engineers, mechanics, and technicians.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in maintenance planning, plant turnarounds, and utilizing CMMS systems.
  • Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
