Managing client expectations involves honesty, relationship, and trust. Advise clients truthfully, even if it means suggesting a different path. Never over-promise; aim for achievable goals. It's better to exceed modest expectations, than to fall short of ambitious ones. Matching results with expectations builds trust, leading to repeat business. Advertising is a promise. You're promising something to your customers. Whether it's a goal to achieve, a desired lifestyle, or just some fun with a game during down time. A good ad makes this promise, and a great campaign carries this promise to the conversion page (web page, app store page, etc). Do not send them post-click to a generic page. The more your story aligns, the higher your conversions. If you then care about long-term retention/growth (you should) then that promise must be fulfilled post-conversion. When you deliver on your promise, this builds trust. Trusting customers are repeat customers & eventual brand ambassadors. Promise what they're looking for, follow through on the conversion page, and deliver post-conversion.

How do you collaborate with growth hackers in your network?
Many people will be quick to tell you what an expert they are, and how great they are as "thought leaders." Vet everyone, and look for those who have results which are qualitative and quantitative. One thing to also note is if this person is truly good at growth hacking, then WHY should they work with YOU? What do you bring to the table to add value to them? If they will help you more than you can help them, then be humble, admit it, and offer to learn from them and support them however you can. LinkedIn is filled with fauxperts. Make sure you don't connect with one, and you aren't one. Only authentic and honest connections will reap the most mutual-beneficial rewards. Good luck!

Top 3 Ad Campaign Best Practices: 1. Speak in the "language and personality" of the platform/network you're communicating on. People have different mindsets while using different platforms, so don't post the same creative and messages to every platform. It won't work. 2. Make sure your ad creative matches the landing page (or app store page and/or custom product page) post-click. Creating a consistent message and creatives will increase your conversions. 3. Similar to above, if sending a campaign to your website, then do NOT send the user to your generic home page. Create a landing page specific to the ad campaign message and creatives. You will get higher conversions.
