About
Ed has built and led teams across a variety of organizations from large to start-up, and with both for-profit and not-for-profit firms. He has experience as a business developer, client relationship manager, trader, senior sales manager, and investor. Ed has international perspective, having worked in global roles based in London, New York, and Chicago as a producer and a people leader. He has managed teams of 5 to 225 people around the world, and annual budgets up to $2 bio in revenue.
Ed has deep understanding of global financial institutions and the markets, products, and technologies they work with, driving projects both large and small as a business sponsor and manager. Purpose, people, and greater good are as important to Ed as revenue and profit. He obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago's Executive MBA Program in Europe, and continues to take occasional executive and masters level classes. He is passionate about learning and evolving both professionally and personally, as well as sharing his experiences and teaching as an undergraduate adjunct professor.
Ed has Board of Director experience in the financial technology and media technology spaces, and has served in volunteer positions on non-profit boards. He is an active investor in real estate and venture capital investments, including a retail real estate development platform in India with a leading sovereign wealth fund.
