Yesterday on Capitol Hill, Vizient, Inc hosted a policy briefing titled "Rural Healthcare Realities: Hospitals' Efforts to Bridge the Access Gap" focusing on the critical challenges rural healthcare providers and patients face and the policies necessary for the stability and sustainability of healthcare delivery in rural America. The event featured remarks from Representatives Representative Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) and @Jill Tokuda (D-HI). A distinguished panel of healthcare leaders addressed ongoing challenges, including workforce recruitment and retention difficulties, reduced access to services such as maternal care and financial burdens.
