At ITW, we’re proud to celebrate our inclusive workplaces as we observe Hispanic Heritage month. Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Our Latino Hispanic Network (LHN) Employee Resource Group empowers Latino and Hispanic colleagues through increasing social and cultural awareness and promoting employee development, retention and progress. Founded in 2021, LHN reaches more than 470 members and allies globally. Throughout the year, LHN hosts a variety of programming and special events such as community partnerships, cultural events, programs that promote career growth, and more! Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from September 15th to October 15th, is a time to recognize the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino communities in the U.S. and beyond. From arts and science to business and social justice, the impact of Hispanic individuals is woven into every aspect of our lives. This month-long celebration is not just about honoring the past, it is also about uplifting the voices and talents that continue to shape our world today. AT ITW, we're committed to ensuring inclusive workplaces across our global businesses by taking qualitative actions that are grounded in our Core Values of Respect & Integrity. Our Employee Resource Groups are grassroots and employee-led, empowering ITW colleagues to think and act like owners. Did you know about ITW's scholarship program? In 2024, we awarded over $225,000 in scholarships to 65 high school juniors through National Merit and Scholarship America. The scholarship program supports the pursuit of degrees in college, the military, or skilled trades. How much of a difference can 43,000 trees make? This past June, ITW Automotive India decided to find out for themselves, with over 160 colleagues volunteering to plant saplings on a 22-acre plot of land that’s about 3 kilometers (~1.86 miles) from their facility. ITW colleagues Shriram Joshi and Supriya Shinde shared their reflections on the project, which marked the beginning of a larger initiative.
