Our community came together this week to celebrate the future heart of the Great Park, an area spanning nearly 200 acres that will include world-class amenities and offer opportunities for relaxation, quiet reflection, musical entertainment, dining, and gatherings, such as picnics and weddings. Attendees got a glimpse of where the amphitheater, Grand Promenade, Great Meadow, Full Circle Farm, North and South Lakes, and the Timeline Bridge will take shape during the Heart of the Park Showcase, which also included a stunning kite show. Reporting to the Assistant Chief, the ideal candidate will be a professional in the human or social services field with experience/familiarity with managing information and referral systems, principles of case management, and best practices in coordinating care for people with complex needs. This assignment requires expert communication and customer service skills, and the ability to create strong professional relationships with internal and external partners. The Administrator must be able to work independently, as part of a team, and with outside partners.   The Administrator is responsible for: directing the day-to-day operations of the City of Irvine’s navigation system, which aims to connect residents with resources and services they need; implementing an internship program for the Office of Health & Wellness; developing, implementing, and evaluating program objectives, policies, and priorities to meet goals; and engaging diverse stakeholders for effective program design and implementation.
