Zeev Farbman

Co-founder & CEO

Zeev had planned on a career in academia, studying computer science for his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and eventually his Ph.D. at Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Zeev has led Lightricks since its founding and has grown the company, with 11 content creation apps, four international offices, and approximately 600 employees.

Zeev is an expert in photo image optimization, he has published peer-review articles in the field, and is a frequent contributor to publications on the topics of tech, start-ups, using a bootstrap model, the creator economy, and computer imaging. When he’s not at the office, you can find Zeev scouting out the next best oyster or sushi joint and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Nir Pochter

Co-Founder & CMO

Nir grew up in Ramat Gan and served in the Anti-Aircraft Division in the IAF. With a Master’s in artificial intelligence from Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, Nir creatively leads Lightricks’ marketing department, whose efforts have been showcased both by Facebook and Instagram as case studies for success.

Nir loves the people he works with and if he had more free time, he would spend it playing computer games. His hobbies include Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and gardening.

Immediately after his release, Yaron began his Bachelor's degree in computer engineering and a Master's degree in computer science at the Hebrew University.

While pursuing his doctorate Yaron felt that he had the opportunity to make a big impact working in the tech industry, leading him to found Lightricks, where he functions as CTO and leads the tech department consisting of over 150 developers and researchers.
