Stuart Wrede attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where he majored
in Screenwriting and Directing. He served for nearly three years as
Head of Development for Academy Award Winning Director, Barry Levinson
("Rain Man", "Diner", "Sleepers", "Wag the Dog"). Stuart then cut his
teeth in television, working for Show-Runner, Michael Rauch, on the CBS
series "Love Monkey". From there, Stuart moved on to work at Cinetic
Media, first in the film sales division, during which time he was
involved with the sale of the Academy-Award nominated film "Precious"
among many others.
Stuart ultimately spear-headed a literary sub-division within Cinetic Management. In December of 2009 he co-founded the Literary and Talent Management Company, Prolific, with Israel Wolfson. In March of 2011, Stuart parted ways with Prolific and founded Stuart Wrede Management, a Literary and Talent Management Company that represented Writers, Directors and Producers.
In May of 2013, Stuart officially joined Authentic Talent and Literary Management as a Lit Manager in the company's NYC offices.
Stuart Wrede is an Executive Producer on the feature film "Die in a Gunfight" written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, starring Zac Efron, with Mark Gordon producing, Anthony Mandler directing and Media Rights Capital financing.
