Sure, the B-movie vibes were strong, especially in the final stretch where it all gets a bit ridiculous, but sometimes a well-done B-movie is more fun than a pretentious art film that people only rave about to impress their snobby friends. That said, it’s not a perfect example of the thriller genre. There were definitely a few drawn-out scenes that dragged the pace, and a little trimming could have given the movie a better flow. Also, I was kind of bummed when the cute blonde with the weird bangs just disappeared from the plot without a trace. / Lesson learned: I’ve never trusted hypnosis, and this movie is a solid reminder why!
