Laura, 19-letnia studentka, pomimo pracy na pół etatu, nie jest w stanie opłacić rachunków za mieszkanie, jedzenie i studia. Sytuacja staje się na tyle ciężka, że zdesperowana dziewczyna odpowiada na ogłoszenie zamieszczone w Internecie: „Joe, 50 letni mężczyzna, poszukuje studentki do fizycznych zbliżeń. 100 euro za godzinę”. Laura decyduje się na ten jeden raz i trzy dni później ląduje w tanim hotelu z mężczyzną z ogłoszenia. Szybko zarobione pieniądze sprawiają, że dziewczyna wpada w pułapkę i zaczyna spotykać się z kolejnymi mężczyznami. Parkingi, skromne pokoje hotelowe i starsi mężczyźni – to tło sekretnego życia Laury, które zostało oddane bardzo realistycznie. Doświadczenia dziewczyny są wyjątkowo brutalne i niebezpieczne. A strong erotic drama on the edge of sexploitation, with a sometimes uncomfortable, authentic, hopeless and very realistically portrayed insight into today's prostitution. The story focuses on the beautiful 19-year-old Laura, she is in school, but lacks the money to pay for everything and so she tries this "last" option of sex for money. This leads to an uncontrollable and fateful spiral, where we see the protagonist going from one apartment to another and doing quite naughty things. Nudity is shown in all its beauty and it may be uncomfortable for some female viewers. France is once again on form. Story****, Action>No, Humor>No, Violence*, Entertainment****, Music***, Visual***, Atmosphere****, Tension***. 7.5/10.

This film has a great idea. It's about a girl who decides in college that it's actually kind of cool to make money by getting paid by older gentlemen. I don't know why, considering how they're acting, but apparently, some people are satisfied with very little. Unfortunately, the film doesn't bring anything really interesting or unexpected in this topic.

Very raw movie, yet somehow filmed in a decent manner, which does not diminish its meaningful value in any way. According to my assumptions, it is a highly sociological film that urges and warns about today's cruel reality, which affects not only France but also other European countries, including the Czech Republic. Déborah Francois literally delivers a heroic performance, already captivating with her fragility and sensitivity in Femmes de l'ombre, which she must defy evil, here she takes her performance to the next level. In the future, we can definitely look forward to her next films.
