angol There are too many characters (and a lot of them existed just to have more potential suspects, they had no other purpose), there is no suspense, Jan Dolanský is overacting terribly at the beginning, the ending was weird and rushed (for example, Dolanský's character disappears from the film). The transfer of the story from the seventies to the present probably bothered me the least. And Viktor Preiss was good, of course. ()

angol I don't think it would be that bad. Certainly, Preiss and Matásek somewhere in the desert in southern Bohemia will take a break from fishing to investigate a murder, it seems a bit convoluted, but for a TV production decent. ()
