Én tudom, hogy mit tettél a mátrixban tavaly nyáron a hatodik érzékeddel. Avagy itt egy kis sikoly, ott egy kis ideglelés! Az utóbbi évek horrorfilmjeinek termését parodizálja fergeteges humorral a művéres vígjáték. Hat jó barátot kerget halálra egy sorozatgyilkos, aki egyesíti magában az összes stílusos kegyetlenséget. Ráadásul a média is üldözi őket egy kotnyeles riporternő, Gail (Cheri Oteri) személyében. Az elmúlt évben, pontosan Halloween éjszakáján történt autóbaleset apropóján kezdődik a testhőmérséklet visszaszámlálása: mínusz egy, mínusz kettő... (RTL Klub)

The first-ever Scary Movie is the best of the entire series, next to the third installment, thanks to the selection of films it parodies, most notably the iconic Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer, which are teen classics in their own right. Anna Faris was still a star within comedies back then, and Regina Hall hadn't had that much space yet (again, this was best done in the third film). In short, it's sometimes disgusting, infantile, campy and predictable, but on the other hand also funny and inventive. ()
Several decent jokes hold it like a withered twig from a cliff above the bottom pit of movie humour. ()
A truly successful parody thanks to their perfect down to the last murders take on Scream and all the What You Did Last Summer variants, not to mention some flavors of the window from Dawson's Creek. Although there are too many overcooked gags that bring the whole likable madness down to average, it's impossible to forget a few legendary scenes. ()
Sorry, but this is not for me. Yes, there were some brilliant moments and Anna Faris was very good in her role, but that is not enough to compensate for the barrage of jokes in the awkward and inept categories. I wasn't expecting an intelligent comedy, but if I were to compare Scary Movie to, say, Hot Shots, even three stars seems a bit much. For a laugh and relax, I can find dozens of better comedies. 50% ()
