As much as I like John Wayne, this movie didn't do it for me. It must be said, though, that it wasn't because of him, but because of the script, which is just bad. Throughout the entire time, we're watching something that in the last ten minutes turns into a crime drama, which isn't directed well at all. In the end, neither the romance nor the comedy are the strong suits of this film, which probably rightfully deserves to be forgotten.
