It's not a tragedy, but compared to the previous seasons, which rode a dramatic wave, a criminal and suspenseful atmosphere gradually revealing the pieces of the puzzle, it's a diametric drop into the depths of screenwriting crap. It's as if the creators ran out of ideas and used the first thing that popped up into their minds. The script was at times absurdly stupid and opaque, ignoring the essential things about development and instead attaching importance to unimportant details. The characters acted stupid to the point of horror, 90% of Clay's scenes are hallucinations, the tearful Jess has been repeating the same thing over and over since the first season, Zach has been on drugs the entire series, and I could go on and on. In the end, it's a huge misstep that should never have been made and the only thing that saves it is at least the fact that I wasn't that bored with some of the episodes. Weaker three stars. ()
