englanti I committed a crime against this movie by watching it in Czech. This means the only option for me is to watch it again in its original version. When I then clicked through some scenes in French, I realized how terribly dubbing can ruin the overall impression. Mélanie Bernier has a beautifully hoarse voice, and in Czech, she was dubbed by Lucie Vondráčková, that can't possibly be true. I won't even mention those Thomas' songs, in Czech, it sounded like they were sung by some retarded teenager. The movie is otherwise quite entertaining, I genuinely laughed in many places. And I was thinking to myself that it probably won't be a miracle. France could have a nice slap on the back for the excellent final scene from the conference, the line "Orly - aéroport de merde" has the potential to go down in history. Iggy Pop and his Lust for Life are just the cherry on top. ()

englanti Just as The Raid 2 represents the top of the action genre for me, The Brats represents the top of the comedy genre!! This is such an incredible ride, it's hard to believe. You can feel the beautiful French feeling and atmosphere, the film radiates a very positive energy, there are very likeable actors, especially Elisa Sednaoui is adorable, and most importantly, there are a lot of jokes and incredible and unconventional scenes that will make you grab your stomach and kiss the carpet, whether you are laughing or sad!! I really haven't laughed this loud in a long time. The humour is quite cheeky, sincere and sometimes naughty, but a lot of exceptional ideas make up for it. This comedy is guaranteed not to leave you cold, unless you're frigid. ()
