Freddy Krueger, der frühere Alptraum zahlloser Kids der Kleinstadt Springwood, schmort in der Hölle. Da sich niemand mehr an seine Taten vor mehr als zehn Jahren erinnert, kann er die Teenager nicht mehr in ihren Träumen heimsuchen. Um wieder Angst und Schrecken zu verbreiten, erweckt er den wahnsinnigen Killer Jason Vorhees zu neuen Leben. Der Plan geht auf: Während in der Stadt das Grauen herrscht, kann auch Freddy aus der Angst der Menschen neue Kraft sammeln. Als Jason jedoch beginnt, Freddy die Vorherrschaft in Springwood streitig und machen und dessen potentielle Opfer zu töten, kommt es zu einem gnadenlosen Kampf der Horror-Ikonen. (RTL II)

I have never been a big fan of any of the series that intersect in this piece, however, I like horror movies, I like to be scared, and I actually have no prejudices against any horror movie, no matter how badly rated. The combination of Freddy and Jason was quite successful, the murderous finale, including the final scene, was stunning.

I have no complaints about this crossover. The creators did an excellent job and delivered fantastic entertainment for fans of these horror icons. I've watched this multiple times and always had a blast. It’s packed with great action scenes, a high body count, and gallons of fake blood — what more could you want from a slasher? This film marks Robert Englund's final performance as Freddy Krueger, and he bids farewell to his iconic role with great dignity.
