Das ist kein gewöhnliches Krimidrama, das sind Damiam Lewis und Sarah Shahi in 32 brillanten Episoden, verwoben mit einer unglaublichen Kombination aus großartigem Thriller, Zen und spezifischem Humor. Es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit einiger lustiger Shipper-Kombinationen, und ich bin Vicky Pratt dankbar, dass sie einen Gastauftritt in dieser wunderbaren Angelegenheit hat. So habe ich durch sie eine weitere Staffel für mich entdeckt, die ich von der ersten Minute an geliebt habe. Nach zwei Staffeln ist es absolut perfekt und es fehlt an nichts. Perfekt, ich kann es einfach nur empfehlen.

While the first season brought me the expected humor and relaxed fun, the second one was clearly weaker, unbalanced and sometimes even boring. I'm actually glad there won’t be a third season. I would worry about another drop in quality. Anyway, I will miss detective Crews and his fruit because he really made me laugh.

Damian Lewis is the kind of actor you notice no matter what role he plays. It's a shame he doesn’t get more opportunities in films, but he’s definitely found his niche in high-quality TV shows. He first caught my eye in Band of Brothers, and years later, my girlfriend introduced me to Life, which at first glance seems like just another crime procedural but has this deeper, evolving storyline that sets it apart. I was pleasantly surprised to see Damian Lewis in the lead again, playing a cop framed for a crime and wrongfully imprisoned for 12 years (originally sentenced to life). I instantly loved his character. The show has a great mix of humor, interesting cases, and a compelling narrative that keeps you hooked episode after episode. It’s a real shame it ended after just two seasons. It came out during a tough time for American TV, when a lot of good shows got canceled before they really had a chance.
