English French mini-series full of mysteries, secrets from the past, romance, and complicated relationships that have really caught my attention. That's why I overlook their obvious flaws - each episode ended with the main heroine Marie in mortal danger, which didn't have the same impact the third time, let alone the fourth, and further events were not particularly suspenseful. Ingrid Chauvin was more likable as a doctor in "Love and Sea," the policewoman plagued by nightmares was rather laughable, and the romantic plot was clear the moment the handsome Parisian policeman appeared on the scene. In defense - the plot was cleverly constructed, it doesn't seem to me that there were too many characters involved, especially since most of them died, a few plot twists left me stunned. Parallels with "Three Women on a Summer Evening" - the last episode was the weakest, just explanatory and a bit action-packed. I'm looking forward to Agatha vs Agatha next week. ()
