David Clennon can claim to have acted in three films directed by Hal Ashby and four by Costa-Gavras. However, he is probably best known for two roles: Palmer the stoned mechanic in John Carpenter's, The Thing, and Miles Drentell in Once and Again, and, ten years earlier, in thirtysomething (different series, same character).
