The Swedes really pulled a fast one at the start of this series, making me think the story would revolve around Stella — and I totally fell for it. Now it’s clear that this is all about the parents. The submissive priest and the no-nonsense lawyer (who seems to be a future alcoholic in the making) are the real power players here, despite the creators’ attempts to convince us otherwise. But it’s no use — I see right through it, and the more these two get involved, the more I’m entertained. / Lesson learned: Swedish prisons might seem like a reward, but that food torture takes it to a whole new level.
