I had no idea Netflix was now copying Disney Channel originals. This one’s as cheesy as it gets. It’s perfect for tweens, but beyond that, it’s pretty hard to take seriously. ()
It's infantile enough to be a Disney Channel type of film, but all the humour has been stripped away and it relies overwhelmingly on the cuteness of the children and the filler in the form of uninteresting (with a few exceptions) dance numbers. The acting is not worth mentioning, it was reminiscent of a village theatre where the mayor decided to cast all the locals in supporting roles; there is nothing to see here except the pretty lead actress. But it's a good effort for ten year olds and it will probably entertain them. ()
