This is one of those movies where from the beginning you think it's going to be a mindless sugar fest, but as you watch for a while, you realize this is exactly the sugar fest you want to see. It's beautifully romantic, it's beautifully offbeat, and overall, it just creates a lovely impression, so that by the end, you're enjoying the finale much like you enjoyed Dirty Dancing, although it's not quite as electrifying. I give a big plus for the song "Time after Time" – it's been on my favorites list for a while, so hearing it put a big smile on my face :-)) Otherwise, about the movie – a totally average movie about love and passion in dance. And pasodoble is indeed a dance full of passion. If you need to switch off your brain for a moment, just kind of survive with a movie, this is a good fit. ()
