In a near future technology-reliant society, man is pitted against killing machines. An elite army unit is dropped in by helicopter to a remote, off-the-grid island facility. What starts out as a simple training exercise for Captain Bukes and his tight-knit squad, descends into a terrifying battle to the death, as the marines discover the island is overrun by an enemy that transcends the human concept of evil. English An average sci-fi war of robots vs soldiers who originally go to the woods for training, but after a while find that the robots have "switched" and instead of humans training to shoot robots, the robots are training on humans. The action is decent, so are the visuals of the robots, and the battle in the woods in the first half is fine, but then comes a bit of boredom. Sometimes it’s gripping, sometimes it’s boring, it's so up and down... Watching soldiers senselessly shoot robots that are literally doing nothing to them and the robots shoot them to pieces for it is not as much fun as one would think. It wasn't the worst, but there are far better things to be found in the genre. At least there's Vanessa Kirby to look at and the shorter running time is a pleasure. ()

English A visually very decent B-movie with robots that has a pretty cool concept and is not boring, but it didn't really captivate me that much. It's disappointing that there are relatively few soldiers, so there isn't much action, and besides, I prefer robots against robots, shooting at metal without much gore isn't very exciting. The action scene in the forest and the finale are okay, but the rest didn't impress me much. Story***, Action***, Humor>No, Violence*, Entertainment***, Music***, Visual****, Atmosphere***, Tension***. 5/10 ()

English I’ll have to keep an eye on low-budget action films, as some of them are very good. Kill Command belongs to that group. The main idea is very good, and overall, the story doesn’t have as many gaps as I expected. There are plenty of action sequences and shootouts here, and a few of them deserve praise. The combination of marines and killer robots works perfectly. The only thing that slightly detracts from my overall experience of the film is the casting of not-so-utilized actors. Their performance shows that. Otherwise, it’s great fun for fans of action films with sci-fi elements. I give it 75%. ()

English An amazing small-scale sci-fi movie that’s situated in the future, but it’s a classic battle royal, so that’s pretty much set. Another thing that’s set it Vanessa Kirby who fits the movie like a glove, who’s making this brutal small-scale movie even more beautiful and who tries to survive in an atmospheric forest that looks just like the one where I like to take walks in the fall. English If Kill Command was just a study of special effects, I'd give it 100%, but to film something with such beautiful effects and give it such an ordinary story feels like squandering resources to me. But it served its purpose; here, people who can truly make great robots were showcased. I'd happily watch more of that, but it needs a much better screenplay. ()
