Biography
Roberto Gavaldón was a Mexican director and screenwriter. His films achieved international recognition and were selected for major festivals worldwide, especially at Cannes, where he presented Las tres perfectas casadas in 1953, The Boy and the Fog in 1954, The Hidden One in 1956 and also Macario in 1960, which subsequently won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1961.
