About Our Returns Policies

Amazon and most sellers on Amazon offer returns for most items within 15 days of receipt of shipment.

Amazon.ae Return Policy

Items shipped from Amazon.ae can be returned within 15 days of receipt of shipment in most cases through the Online Returns Center. Some products may have different policies or requirements associated with them.

Returns will be processed only if:
  • It is determined that the product was not damaged while in your possession.
  • The product is not different from what was shipped to you.
  • The product is returned in the same condition as when it was received (sealed/unopened if applicable, with the original brand /manufacturer box or packaging, and, if applicable, any user manual, warranty card and all accessories)

Return process:

  • After the courier picks-up your item, it can take up to two weeks for us to receive and process your return.
  • We will issue the refund, then it may take 5 to 7 business days to show on your payment card statement or 4 business hours if you request to get the refund to your Amazon Gift Balance.
  • Items marked as "non-returnable" on the product detail page cannot be returned. However, in an unlikely event a damaged, defective or wrong item is delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or replacement, if available. We may contact you to ascertain the damage/defect in the product prior to issuing the refund/replacement, as applicable. We reserve the right to request further information, or collect or inspect the product to ascertain the damage/defect in the product prior to issuing the refund/replacement.
  • Some items may be eligible for replacement only. If the exact same product is not in stock, we will issue a refund.
Note:

In the event customers are found to misuse the return policy by excessively returning, or returning items which are not in original condition or by cancelling or not accepting the orders placed, Amazon reserves the right to warn, restrict, suspend, block and/or terminate such customer accounts, as necessary.

We will not accept return of any item which is wrongfully sent to us or items which are different than what was delivered to you. This includes items which were not originally purchased from Amazon. In the event we receive such items, we are unable to return or provide a refund or other concession in respect of such items and such action may result in restrictions on your Amazon account, including limiting your ability to return items in future, order cancellation and/or Amazon account closure.

Amazon Global Store Return Policy

Most items purchased through Amazon Global Store can be returned within 15 to 30 days of receipt of delivery using the Online Returns Center. Some products have different policies or requirements associated with them. You can find the return window for any item in the product details page.

Return Process:
  • Amazon Global Store items can take up to 30 days to reach us once you return such item.
  • Once the item reaches our fulfilment center, it will take a further 3-5 business days to receive and process your return.
  • Once Amazon issues the refund, it may take a further 5 to 7 business days to show on your payment card statement, or 4 business hours if you request to get the refund to your Amazon Gift Balance.

Seller Return Policy

  • When you return an order from a marketplace seller who fulfils and ships their own inventory (also called a third-party seller), the seller will receive your return instead of Amazon.ae. Marketplace sellers must either provide a return address within the United Arab Emirates, a prepaid return label, or offer a full refund without requesting the item to be returned. If a seller does not offer these methods to return your items, you may file an A-to-z Guarantee Claim to seek help with your return.- While sellers offer a return policy at least equivalent to that of Amazon.ae, some sellers may offer more favorable returns policies.

  • To view the seller's return policy after placing an order, you can select your order in the Online Returns Center. If not specified in the Seller's Returns and Refunds policy, the order will default to the Amazon.ae Return Policy.

Categories Return Windows

Most items can be returned within 15 to 30 days of receipt of delivery.

Return Window: 15 days of delivery

The following product types are eligible for return for a full refund within 15 days of delivery. In the unlikely event a damaged, defective or different item is delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or free replacement if applicable, Terms and Conditions apply.

Please keep the item in its original condition, with brand outer box, brand/price tags attached, user manual, warranty cards and original accessories in manufacturer packaging for a successful return pick-up. The items which are subject to a 15 day return window are:

Automotive Items

(Air Fresheners, Exterior Care, Tire & Wheel Equipment, Cleansers/Degreasers/Solvents, Oils, Seat Covers, Body Tools & Equipment, Interior Care)

  • In the unlikely event a damaged, defective or different item is delivered to you, you can also opt for a free replacement (if available).
  • For defects identified outside the 15-day return period, you can also avail of the manufacturer warranty as communicated on the product details page.

Electronics

(Computers, Laptops, Tablets and Mobiles, Electronics, Camera, Home Entertainment, Smart wearables, Accessories, Musical Instruments, Streaming Media, DVD Player, Home Theatres, Projectors)

  • For defects identified outside the 15-day return period, you can also avail the manufacturer warranty as communicated on product details page.
  • Before returning items on which you've saved personal information, such as laptops, cameras, or other electronic devices, please include all the accessories that came with the item, remove all passwords or security locks from the device and erase the information stored on the device. For Apple devices, iCloud account should be signed out/erased and all personal data be removed.

Beauty Products

  • Including Skin Cleaning, Skin Moisturizer, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Deodorant, Fragrance, Lip & Hair Colors, Sunscreen, Make up.

Physical Video Games

  • Returned physical video games that are activated, used, or missing parts are not refunded.

Pet Products

  • Including Pet - Habitats & Supplies, Apparel & Leashes, Training & Behavior Aids, Toys, Pet Shampoos and Conditioners, Pest Control, harnesses, aquarium supplies and Pet Grooming Aids.

Sports & Entertainment Collectibles

  • If you selected self-ship shipping option, you must return collectible items with a value of 150 AED or more using a trackable method. Items with a value more than 1500 AED, must also be insured.
  • For defects identified outside the 15-day return period, you can also avail of the manufacturer warranty as communicated on the product details page.
  • All product packaging (boxes, manuals, warranty cards, etc.) and certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item.
  • Any items returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • Before shipping a return, photograph the item for your records.

Amazon Warehouse

  • In most cases, used or open box items purchased from Amazon Warehouse and shipped from Amazon.ae can be returned within 15 days of receipt of shipment. Some product categories have different policies or requirements associated with them.

Personal Care Appliances

  • Including shavers, trimmers, epilators, scales, medical devices, blood pressure monitors, mobility aids, respiratory appliances, hand and foot massagers.

Home, Kitchen, Office Furniture, Office Products & Stationery Supplies

  • Home Furniture (Cabinets, Drawers, Shelf, home décor, lighting, Sofa, beds, mattress, Cookware, appliances, mixer grinder, cooking essentials etc)
  • Office Furniture (Chair, Desk, Shelf, Table, Cabinet, Stool Seating)

Return Window: 30 days of delivery

The following product types are eligible for return for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. In the unlikely event a damaged, defective or different item is delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or free replacement if applicable, Terms and Conditions apply.

Please keep the item in their original packaging, with factory-seal, and not opened or used. Amazon has the right to deny the return of any items that are not customary to be returned for hygienic reasons, or in case the packaging makes it impossible to verify that they have not been used. The items that are subject to a 30 days return window are:

Baby Items

  • Including Diapers, Skin Cleaning Wipe, Skin Moisturizer, Skin Cleaning Agent, Baby Bottle, Drinking Cup, Pacifier, Skin Protectant, Bottle Nipple, Cleaning Brush, Bottle, Teether) and any other baby related items which, by their nature, could not be resold if returned due to hygiene reasons.

Clothing, shoes and Accessories

  • Items like Men & Women Underwear, Lingerie set, Socks & hosiery are not returnable due to hygiene reasons.

Jewellery, Luggage, Handbags & Watches

  • Any luggage products with locks must be returned unlocked.
  • If you selected self-ship shipping option, jewellery and watch items with a value of 150 AED or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method.

Return Window: Non-returnable

These items are non-returnable to Amazon due to the consumable or hygienic nature of the product. In the unlikely event a damaged, defective or different item is delivered to you, we will provide a full refund or free replacement as applicable ( terms and conditions apply. The items that are non-returnable are:

Grocery, Gourmet & Pet Food

  • We may contact you to request information (including photos and / or videos) and assess the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing refund/replacement.

Digital Video Games and Software

  • Including digital downloadable content (e.g., game or software downloads), digital access codes (e.g., software licenses, subscriptions), digital activation codes (e.g., top-up cards, closed-loop digital tokens.

Amazon Home Services

  • To cancel your service appointment, see our cancellation policy . All services are backed by our Happiness Guarantee, so if you are not satisfied we will make sure the job gets done right.

Live Plants

  • We may contact you to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing refund/replacement. We reserve the right to pick up the product to ascertain the damage or defect in the product prior to issuing refund/replacement.

Hazardous Materials

  • Hazardous materials, including flammable liquids or gases are non-returnable to Amazon.

Fine Art

  • If you selected self-ship shipping option, Fine Art items with a value of 150 AED or more must be returned using a trackable shipping method. Items with a value more than 1500 AED must also be insured.
  • All product packaging and certificates of authenticity and appraisal must be returned with the item.
  • Any Fine Art item returned without original documentation will be rejected.
  • Any Fine Art items that have been damaged, or otherwise altered after delivery, won't be accepted for return.
  • Before sending a Fine Art return, photograph the item for your records.

Personal Care Supplies, Household Supplies & Consumables

  • Household Supplies: Laundry Products (Detergents, Fabric Conditioners), Household Cleaners (Toilet Cleaners, Floor Cleaners, Hand washes, Tissues), Air Fresheners (Sprays, Gels) etc.
  • Personal Care: Oral Care (Toothbrushes, toothpastes, mouthwashes, Power Toothbrush, Waterflosser etc); Feminine Hygiene (Sanitary Pads, Panty Liners, Menstrual Cups etc.); Shaving and Hair Removal (Men's Shaving - Razors, Blades, Shaving Foams, Brushes etc.; Men's Beard Care - Beard Oil, Beard Serum etc.; Women's Hair Removal - Wax Strips, Creams, Razors etc), Haircare, Coloring & Styling, Bath & Shower.
  • Family Nutrition: Infant Baby Food, Toddlers' and Kids' Health Drinks, Vitamin and Mineral Supplements.
  • Temperature controlled products: any products which are required to be stored and delivered in temperature-controlled conditions (e.g. chilled or frozen items).

Replacement Items Only

The following items are subject to a replacement only policy. This means that if you want to return them due to damage or defects, or if you received a different item than what you ordered, you will be able to get a replacement item (subject to availability). In most cases, you will only be able to receive a refund for these items if they are returned in an unopened, sealed condition.

TVs and Large Appliances

(TVs, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washing Machine, large Sport & Gym equipment etc)

  • For defects identified outside the 15-day return period, you can also avail the manufacturer warranty as communicated on the product details page.
  • We may conduct a doorstep verification of the item's condition prior to issuing a replacement (if available).
