Ray has made one relief appearance this season. His highlights have come at the plate, including crushing a pair of three-run homers in a victory over Austin on March 6 to give Patriots coach Jared Smith his 100th career victory. Ray also launched a grand slam over the scoreboard in a win over Albertville.

Bob Jones (15-4) was ranked No. 8 in the first ASWA poll of the season. The Patriots are coming off a 4-1 showing during a spring break trip to Baldwin County.

Ray was a multi-purpose threat for Bob Jones football last season. He caught 40 passes for 452 yards, four touchdowns and a pair of 2-point conversions, and four of his 10 completed passes went for TDs.
