RM Proposal

[edit]

I have removed your RM proposal related to the current situation in Bolivia. "There will be sources soon" is insufficient rationale. Once the sources are available (and especially if other editors agree with your rationale), feel free to re-propose the move. Walsh90210 (talk) 15:56, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello friend

[edit]

Regarding this diff, you were right the first time. "The news is so fresh that..." is correct. I think this is because news is a collective noun. Hope this helps :) –Novem Linguae (talk) 16:46, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"The news is so fresh..." I don't know why but, at the same time, sounds so wrong in my mind... Aren't "news" a countable noun? Anyway, thanks. --Bibliotecatdj (talk) 18:31, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
1 news, 2 newses? Or 1 new, 2 news? Nope, not countable, sounds weird to me. Would want to say something like 2 news articles, 2 pieces of news, etc. Hope that makes sense. –Novem Linguae (talk) 18:56, 28 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
