B. R. Chaya is a Kannada singer from Bangalore,[1] trained by C. Aswath,[2] who has sung in over 200 films and performed around the world.[1] She received Kannada Film Award for best female playback singer in 2002[3] and a Rajyotsava Prashasti award in 2010.[4]
