Celine El-Khouri, Senior Engineer, and Nicolas Serieys, PE, Principal Engineer, had an incredible time at the California Lawyers Association Environmental Law Conference, learning about the current and upcoming regulatory changes in California. Attending the conference allows us to connect with current and potential work with attorneys, and also help current clients with the upcoming changes in California. Global Leaders in Sustainability Solutions
About us
SLR’s purpose is Making Sustainability Happen. We achieve this by having a team of expert advisors and technicians, who partner with our clients to tackle some of the world's most complex sustainability challenges, by utilising our collaborative and entrepreneurial One Team culture. SLR has been advising clients for over 25 years at every point of their project life-cycle. Starting as a UK business, we now operate as a global company with more than 3,000 people delivering client solutions across six regions. We have grown both organically and through welcoming other like-minded businesses with a similar One Team culture into the SLR group. We are ably supported by our principal investor, Ares Management, and will continue to build a balanced, successful and growing business. We’ve designed working life at SLR to look a little different. Because we know talented people often feel restricted by the rigid systems, lack of cross-functional collaboration and limited options for growth on offer elsewhere. Our One Team culture promotes meaningful professional and personal growth, our flat management structure provides many opportunities to progress, and our collaborative approach means you’ll get the chance to work on projects you care about and make a real difference. If you’re purpose-driven, self-motivated and keen to make an impact on a global scale, we want to hear from you.

We’ve partnered with the Treekly® app, taking on a 30-Day Challenge to turn our footsteps into forests alongside our teams in Africa and APAC! 🌳 As well as a fantastic initiative to boost physical and mental health for our community, the Treekly app works with various reforestation projects around the globe to convert our steps into planted trees. For 30 days starting on the 18th of September, for every 5,000 steps we take a day, Treekly will plant a mangrove tree. They will be planted in Kenya, at Treekly’s Mteza Creek reforestation project, aligned to 10 of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Helping to fight deforestation, protect ecosystems, and provide fair employment for the communities that plant them. You can read more about the technology being used to track and verify the trees here: https://lnkd.in/eWDcZr5m #Treekly #StepIntoSeptember #OneTeam #OurPlanet #MakingSustainabilityHappen

Happy #FieldFriday! Today we feature field photos from an exciting environmental impact and permitting project that SLR is supporting in the Virgin Islands! SLR USA and SLR Canada teamed up to tackle environmental impacts and permitting projects at two islands in the US Virgin Islands chain: St. Thomas and St. Croix. Our Environmental Science team, along with Permitting and Compliance, traveled out to the islands, where they completed a field verification visit and made a few friends along the way! SLR’s unique host of in-house services combined with our global resources help us find the right team and right solution for our clients. This is a showcase of our collaborative ‘One Team’ spirit!
