Tool Shape 🛠️ When selecting a Tether Point an important factor is the shape of the tool. This is because different tool shapes require different methods of attachment for the Tether Point to be secure and for the tool to still be fully functional. For example, if you are looking to tether a rotating tool such as a screwdriver you'll need a Tether Point that will enable you to securely attach a Tool Lanyard, whilst still allowing the screwdriver to rotate such as the Spin Tether™. Back in March, our friends at Arco Professional Safety Services Ltd were featured on BBC Breakfast using some of our tool lanyards and bags whilst they painted the iconic London Eye. The full paint refresh, which takes place every three years, requires around 5,000 litres and takes a team of eight painters working five nights a week for six months.
