💬 “On any given day, 25,000 to 30,000 jobs are available, from entry-level positions to senior roles within the geospatial industry. Around 500 universities globally offer some form of GIS or geospatial training. We will get 5,000 to 10,000 graduates annually if we aggregate all these programs. This means that, if we were to graph the supply and demand, we would see diverging lines, highlighting a widening gap in the talent shortage,” said Aaron Addison in his keynote about the future of the geospatial profession at GEO Business 2024.
