T-Shirt/Memory Quilt Custom Made with your shirts- Deposit

T- Shirt/Memory Quilt made with your t-shirts. What a great gift for graduations, birthdays or just for preserving memories. It's also a fun way to clear out your drawer space of shirts you no longer wear but don't want to discard. You pick the size based on the number of shirts you want to use. $75 is the deposit only. Front and back designs of shirts can be incorporated- each will count as a square. Each shirt design is cut to 12" or 13" depending on the graphics. Quilts are pieced by hand and machine stitched and quilted for durability. Each t-shirt is lined with interfacing for stability. I use 100% cotton fabrics for sashing (the fabric strips on the front of the quilt that "frame" your t-shirts) and cotton batting to line the quilt. You can choose what colors you'd like to use for the sashing and backing or leave it up to me to decide what will look best with your t-shirts. After quilt is assembled, it is machine quilted with a diagonal pattern. Prices areas follows: 9 squares = $220 12 squares = $295 16 squares =$389 20 squares = $489 25 squares = $598 Finished size of quilts are approximate based on 12" squares: 9 square 48" x 48" 12 square 48" x 60" 16 square 60"x 60" 20 square 60" x 75" 25 square 75"x 75" If the graphics on the shirts are larger than the normal 12-13", I can accommodate by cutting the squares larger. There will be an additional charge for extra fabric needed for the larger quilt you will receive. Backing fabrics are cotton or flannel and are included in the pricing. If you prefer minky fabric for the back, it is available for an additional charge. Once I receive the deposit, I will send a message with my mailing address. You can then send your pre-washed, uncut t-shirts to me along with any fabric color preferences. If you have specific ideas regarding placement of the shirts in the quilt, please include those as well. Turn around time is currently 8-9 weeks from the time I receive your t- shirts. Holidays require additional time. When your quilt is complete, I will add a private listing with pictures of the quilt showing your remaining balance due. Once payment is received, your custom quilt will be mailed via USPS priority mail.
