Rob Benson on Instagram: "3-3-3 Radio Plan

In an emergency, when traditional communication fails, turn to your FRS or GMRS radios. The 3-3-3 radio plan is your simple communication strategy:

First 3 minutes of every hour: Use your radio for the first three minutes of each hour.

Channel 3: Use channel 3 for GMRS (FRS radios typically have consistent channel numbering).

Transmit every 3 hours: Communicate every three hours to create regular intervals for contact.

This plan helps you maintain communication while conserving your device’s battery life.
