Disney gave us a colorful bunch of friends to grow up with. Some were bold, expressive, and charismatic. Others were quiet, deep thinkers, carrying a world of emotions in their kind hearts. But as different as they were on the inside, most of them were very similar on the outside.

That being said, if Disney had used artist's J. Scott Campbell's drawings for the basis of their characters, then they probably could have tapped into a whole

Our beloved princesses are always good, kind, and considerate to others. They give sweet smiles, have eyes full of affection, and boast expressions that show love. But what if they were the bad guys in the movie? What would they look like if they were villains? What would they wear?

Well, this Mexican visual artist José Rodolfo Loaiza Ontiveros has just destroyed it for us. Specializing in pop culture, Rodolfo measures his viewer’s tolerance levels by putting our beloved characters in unorthodox context and showing them in dark, tough situations to explore the general theme of “loss of innocence.”

To promote my first Art Book campaign on Kickstarter, I decided to create this picture series. As a big fan of comics, I imagined, what if Disney princesses were drawn by Sin City's creator Frank Miller? Some of them are looks even more cute in that style, isn't it?
