It’s called the Last Friend, and through it, Rufus and Mateo are about to meet up for one last great adventure—to live a lifetime in a single day.

I bought the e-book before I bought the real hardcover book.. And the hardcover hits differently. I stayed up from 10:00 pm to 2:58 am just to finish the hardcover, and all I have to say is this book is amazing 👏 and I loved it.. I also recommend this if you trying to cry because right after I read this, I started balling my eyes out and having a full mental breakdown. 😫😩 ( American pie is my new all time fav song 🥹)

One of the best books I've ever read. Even though the ending is spoiled in the title, it still made me cry quite a lot. I felt much more emotionally invested in the story and the characters than any other book I've read and, overall, this is a book I wholeheartedly recommend.

I recommend reading this book at home so you're not weeping on public transit like I was. It took me a while to warm up to the two protagonists but by halfway I was committed to them. I really enjoyed the small details that tied the characters together.
