#1 NEW YORK TIMES AND USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR

“Take my word for it, James Reece is one rowdy motherf***er. Get ready!” —Chris Pratt, star of the #1 Amazon Prime series The Terminal List

A Navy SEAL has nothing left to live for and everything to kill for after he discovers that the American government is behind the deaths of his team in this ripped-from-the-headlines political thriller that is “so powerful, so pulse-pounding, so well-written—rarely do you read a debut novel this damn good” (Brad Thor, #1 New York Times bestselling author).

On his last combat deployment, Lieutenant Commander James Reece’s entire team was killed in a catastrophic ambush. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government.

Now, with no family and free from the military’s command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he’s learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward avenging the deaths of his family and teammates. With breathless pacing and relentless suspense, Reece ruthlessly targets his enemies in the upper echelons of power without regard for the laws of combat or the rule of law.

“Told with a deft hand and a keen eye for detail, The Terminal List…is explosive and riveting” (Kevin Maurer, co-author of No East Day) and is perfect for fans of Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Stephen Hunter, and Nelson DeMille.

probably the best in the series. The authors past military experience and knowledge really shine through here. Everything hits just as it should. the intense scenes had my heart rate going and the emotional/sad points made my eyes water thinking about my family in his situation. Amazing story just like every one of his books in the series. If you guys enjoyed the TV show then you'll absolutely love the book because it's better. They followed the same overarching concepts and plot points in the show, but there's just more that you can do in a book. Also, the narrator is one of my favorites. Amazing job!!

The whole series is awesome! I've listened to all 5 books now that it came out, and I wish I had 10 more! (I also can't wait for the show coming out soon, Chris Pratt is the filet mignon of Hollywood.) Ray Porter is an excellent narrator, I understand why people follow his work. Jack Carr has wonderful balances between details, heart, and the big picture. Each book leaving you satisfied and wanting more at the same time! The protagonist James is relatable to a point, I'm sure it's a scale of hardness in each individual reader/listener that measures how much they understand his motives and actions. Beware of some gruesome portions if you have a cartoon imagination!

I heard about Jack Carr from his appearances on the Free Range American and Joe Rogan Experience podcasts talking about his new book Savage Son. I was instantly interested in his books. I can't wait to listen and/or read Savage Son but I wanted to start from the beginning. I've been reading Tom Clancy books over and over since I was a kid, I love the genre. What Mr. Carr did with this story is incredible. I was instantly hooked. The style, the details, the emotional rollercoaster makes this a work of art as far as I'm concerned. Well done Jack. I'm already listening to True Believer as I write this. May you never stop writing, you have a true gift
