The game will often freeze, crash or be unable to connect to the server. When it's working, it's great. But the bugs that cause it to crash are frustrating to say the least. Otherwise it's a perfect game. *Update* After a month the honeymoon phase wears off real quick and it's hard to even login every day. Monetization is also pretty predatory.

It's like FFT with the story of FE. If that was the whole review, it would be 5⭐. But microtransions are pushed too hard. Not necessary to enjoy or progress, still: -It's a gatcha game. 😑 -It has 3, Three, separate battle passes at the time of writing this. -It has so many different resources that you are bound to run out of one and have to grind it. -The energy system is okay but annoying. Instead of recharge at a decent, consistent pace, you log in at certain times to get jumps on energy.

It's everything I wanted FFWOTV to be. It has snappy and more environmentally interactive combat with beautiful pixel sprites, and way less UI clutter. The story has multiple endings, though a continuous story would be nice too. Though it is lacking an endgame scene and resources for accelerated banners, I hope the game continuous its vision.
