About this game

The Calamus is a companion for tabletop roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons or Pathfinder, that allows you to create huge battlemaps utilizing dozens of hand-drawn tiles, create custom PC, NPC, and FOE tokens, and host games in which players can add and move their own characters in real-time.

The Calamus also features a robust chat, in which you can send messages as yourself or any token you have in play, publicly or privately.

Fog of War and 2x2 Characters have recently been added.

Question: For the subscription, does it charge you automatically once your free trial is over or do you have to manually subscribe (because if it automatically charges you, I feel like you should put something kind of warning)? Also, some feedback is the font choice since I find it difficult to read it on mobile (because of both the font size and the actual font), but besides that, I think it's an interesting app Edit: Ok thanks :)

Hello! Thank you for your review. The app will NOT charge you automatically. Once your trial has ended, you must set up a subscription manually. As far as font goes, in the options menu (the gears) there is a "readability mode" if you tap over to "Configuration". This changes *most* of the text in the app to a more readable font.

Hey this is really good! Easy to use on a phone, and I imagine it would be amazing in a tablet! Randomly decorating the rooms I places with appropriate features was an unexpected surprise, and being able to cycle through/manually place them was over the top. My subscription budget is spoken for, alas! But keep it up! It's awesome!

I love how the app allows you to make your own maps, it's helpful when trying to create a map for roleplaying and other things. I only have one problem with the app, you can't move the map up floors. So you can't have multi-story buildings, which makes things a little irritating because a castle isn't really a castle if it's just one floor.

Hi! Thanks for the review. We are working on multi-leveled maps. In the mean-time, you can build multiple floors on the same "plane" as the height and width of your map is pretty much unlimited.

BUG FIXES
Some users were having issues with deleting tiles from their map staying deleted. This build should fix the issue moving forward. Also, this build fixes an issue for people trying to resubscribe.
