There may not be ads, but in-app purchases dominate the game. A lot of Pokemon are paywalled (or locked in a hopeless gacha "delivery" system that loses worth the further you get), and the limited-time event ones that aren't paywalled require a ton of grinding. This grinding becomes 90% of the gameplay once you get to a certain point, which makes it very easy to lose interest. Have played for years off-and-on and the game has just gotten more and more of a cash grab.

I love the game SO much, although getting 5 star pokemon skins, or overall getting anything good from delivery is the worst thing ever, you mostly always get duplicates or atleast a golden or rainbow, but those are also hard to get, but also randomly the app closes on me, so playing is a bit hard, its a few minutes or so and it just closes, i wouldnt say its something with the app, probably cause my phone is a bit old.

Actual review. On the surface this looks like a fun and relaxing puzzle/collector. However, it's just a case grab. 1. Progression is based on obtaining and leveling every pokemon. If you can't counter the blocks the game feels pointless and not fun 2. There should be no timer for connecting blocks. It's so unnecessary. 3. Blocks are so touchy you will find yourself not breaking any because they jitter away from the most subtle of movement. 4. You will also never get the event pokemon. Bad.
