This app made the two days I worked for Instacart a nightmare. My first batch, I got to the checkout, and it froze. After reaching out to support, we got it working, but then the following day, the app completely became unresponsive while I was in the middle of talking to a customer during a batch. I refreshed the app, cleared the cache, force-stopped it, and finally uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, but it was still not working right. I do not recommend this app to anyone.

It does not need to track your location at all times. Why not only while the app is in use? Why does it not function otherwise? Complete invasion of privacy and having to change the setting from off to on everytime is very tedious. It won't suggest anything either unless you're close to a store that's already receiving orders. As if it has no way to know how often they get orders or when they do.

This app regularly crashes and gets stuck on loading screens. There's issues with qr scaning at some stores. There are never enough support members to actually help. I had a double batch where user a refunded all of their items and the app wouldn't let me check out, cancel user a's order, or cancel the whole order without speaking to support. I tried to reach support for over 30 minutes before giving up. Out of the 43 orders I've done I've had no app trouble on maybe 10 of them.
