What delivery options are available?

Amazon Pharmacy offers several delivery options.

Same-Day delivery is available in Austin, Indianapolis, Greater Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Phoenix, and Seattle. Drone delivery is available in College Station, Texas.

Outside of these cities, you can usually expect your order in 1-4 days.

What are the Prime benefits at Amazon Pharmacy?

Prime members save up to 80% on brand and generic medication at Amazon Pharmacy. We also make it easy to check your insurance copay and use coupons. Prime members can also subscribe to RxPass and get all eligible medications just $5 a month—total—no matter how many prescriptions you have.

Do Prime members get free 2-day delivery with Amazon Pharmacy?

We try to get your medication to you quickly—but safely is our top priority. Some medications require specialized or refrigerated packaging, and additional health checks by our pharmacists. And in some locations, we are unable to deliver on Sunday.

Once you sign up for a medication with automatic refills, we deliver your next order before you run out—so you’ll always have enough.

When will my medication be delivered?

You can expect your order in 1–4 days. If you live near Austin, Brooklyn, Indianapolis, Miami, Phoenix, or Seattle, your medication may be eligible for same-day delivery. Drone delivery is available in College Station, Texas.

For new prescriptions, most pharmacies take up to 4 days to send us a prescription. It’s faster to have your prescriber to send it directly to us—we usually get it the same day.

Once we have your prescription on file, our pharmacists will review your prescription, health information, and check for drug interactions. Then, we notify you when it’s time to place your order.
