For the tractor in Fallout 4, see Tractor (Fallout 4). |
Tractors are agricultural vehicles utilized throughout Appalachia before the Great War.
Background[]
A tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds.
Characteristics[]
Used for several purposes such as agriculture, construction, and transport, these farm vehicles provided the power and traction to mechanize agricultural tasks, such as tilling farmland. The tractors found in the wasteland are weathered from the elements but are still brightly painted. All tractor variants are capable of drawing a tiller behind it, attached to a three-point hitch.
