Red Bull Legends Inn: Apex tournament details, tickets and how to enter

ImperialHal and iiTzTimmy have announced that they are heading up the Red Bull Legends Inn Apex Legends tournament in early November. This event, which has $25,000 in prizing, will take place at the Godfrey Hotel in Chicago.

The Red Bull Legends Inn event will be an event like never seen before in Apex Legends. The event will be duos, with 38 of the worlds best players competing head to head. They will all compete from within hotel rooms in the Godfrey Hotel, and viewers can have a direct impact on the how the tournament plays out.

The tournament will have a several twists on traditional Apex tournaments. Teams will be duo, not trio with 38 of the worlds best players joining iiTzTimmy and ImperialHal. Additonally, these teams will be captained by players chosen by Timmy and Hal themselves. Then, these captains will recruit their duo teammate. However, two teams will be 'wildcards' selected from an Online Qualifier that runs between October 19 and 20. That means anyone can enter, could you take on the likes of Timmy and Hal?

All of the rooms will be kitted out with exclusive merch, elite gaming setups, and top-notch gaming monitors.

Each team will have to survive eight rounds of unique in-game challenges. When a team is eliminated, the lights to their rooms will go dark. This will turn the exterior of the Godfrey Hotel into a 19-story scoreboard as the event progresses. Teams will be awarded points based on how long they survive and the amount of eliminations they secure each round, with the team earning the most points winning the event.

But what challenges will they face? That's up to the viewers. Anyone tuning into the livestream can vote on how each pair will battle it out in game. There could be fist fight only rounds, banned legends and much more. Consequently, expect some major twists and turns as the event progresses.

Finally, the top ten teams will win a share of the $25,000 prize pool. In addition to prize money, the winning team will also get a one-of-a-kind Heirloom to commemorate their victory.
