Beautifully designed Maya fire bowls are made of glass-fiber reinforced concrete and feature a stainless steel burner. Glass-fiber reinforced concrete is stronger and 50 percent lighter than regular concrete. This enables them to stand up to harsh environmental conditions like freezing and marine environments. The use of glass fibers for reinforcement means that it'll not rust like steel and therefore the glass fibers will prevent the product from cracking. This fire bowl comes with lava rock burning display but you can upgrade to fire glass (sold separately). If substituting for fire glass, 95 pounds is usually recommended. The Outdoor Plus's Smart Weather Electronic Ignition System is compatible with both Natural Gas and Liquid Propane. The SWEIS is tested to withstand winds up to 55mph. If the flame is blown out, the unit will automatically reignite. The unit will shut off automatically in unsafe, severe rain & wind conditions.
