Jason Sean McCarthy (born 7 November 1995)^[3] is an English footballer who plays as a defender for Wycombe Wanderers,^[4] on loan from Southampton.^[5]

Club career

McCarthy is a youth product from the Southampton F.C. academy. He made his Premier League debut on 26 December 2014 against Crystal Palace. He replaced Nathaniel Clyne after 87 minutes in a 3–1 away win.^[6] In October 2015, McCarthy signed a one-month loan deal with Wycombe Wanderers.^[4]
