Walthamstow Central is a station on the Victoria Line and the WAGN (railway) service from Chingford Station and London Liverpool Street. It is the northern terminus of the Victoria Line, the next station being Blackhorse Road. On 'one' the next station towards Chingford station is Wood Street. The tube station was opened on 1 September, 1968, the railway line being opened in 1869.
