Actress/Comedian Irene Ang propelled to fame with her role as Rosie Phua in longest running sitcom, and top television series ^[2]Phua Chu Kang. Following which, in 1999,Irene Ang started FLY Entertainment in a storage room at the back of a factory, with just a fax machine and two staff members.

Under a New Business wing, FLY has branched out into her own theatre productions. Camp Comedy came back in 2008 for second laughs. Special Projects has also produced The V conference, The Return of the V and Lah! Mardi Gras. Lah! Mardi Gras was Singapore's first Mardi Gras celebration spanning over 3 days with internationally acclaimed DJ acts.

FLY Academy is a professional acting and grooming school, which works with celebrity coaches such as Irene Ang, Amy Cheng, Jimmy T, Julie Wee and Chen Huihui.
