Cristiano Marcello is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and the Chute Boxe BJJ head coach, his most notable win is over The Ultimate Fighter: Team Nogueira vs. Team Mir contestant Dave Kaplan. Cristiano has fought for PRIDE and is a Vale Tudo veteran. Cristiano is widely known for a backstage altercation between him and Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett at PRIDE Shockwave 2005, Bennett supposedly insulted the Chute Boxe Academy and Wanderlei Silva prompting a scuffle between Cristiano and Bennett, before the fight was broken up Cristiano put "Krazy Horse" to sleep with a Triangle Choke.[1] With the departure of Cristiano Marcello from Chuteboxe Curitiba in March of 2009, a new training camp was born, CM System. The CM system is a martial arts form that utilizes highly developed jiu-jitsu techniques specifically for the application into the sport of MMA. Cristiano Marcello created and developed this new concept with his 20 years of experience while at the world famous Chuteboxe Academy in Curitiba, Brazil. CM has helped and perfected the fight game of today’s greatest MMA champions.
