The Revival is a free quarterly British magazine aimed at young Muslims, covering a broad range of issues faced by today's Muslim youth.
It was co-founded by current editor Sajid Iqbal in the spring of 1996 as a four page black and white newsletter to be distributed in Oldham. Sajid came up with the idea after becoming frustrated with the lack of Islamic literature aimed at the youth of today and decided to take matters into his own hands.
The newsletter expanded rapidly through voluntary distribution, initially to Manchester, then the North West, and finally the whole UK.
From 2003 until 2005 The Revival appeared solely in an online format. In May 2005, The Revival was relaunched as a national magazine,now known for its controversial subject matter and the jaunty manner of its writing.
The magazine has a circulation of approximately 15,000[1] and at its peak in September 2006 the website received 3,000 unique visitors in a month[2].

In the aftermath of the July 7 bombings in London Revival sub-editor Irfan Khan was interviewd by the Observer.[3]
