Harding was born in [[Redhill, Surrey|Surrey]], He bagan playing with Reigate in the season of 89-90 scoring an impressive 17 goals in his first season. He went on to be the top scorer in the club on 5 occasions and is credited in the 2003/04 season with an amazing total of 98 goals for the season, although this was later discovered it was due to the fact that he got the shield engraved himself and he had only scored In fact 27. Alan Harding (born 24 March 1971) is an English footballer who scored 499 goals from 353 appearances in the Old Boys Football League playing for Reigate,. He played as a striker or on the right wing.[2]
